I kept expecting to see an umbrella overhead with Julie Andrews hanging beneath. With an improbable, overnight shift in the winds, these sails were bodied enough to travel a miraculous 127.4 miles in less than 8 hours. I'm shaking my head too. Amazing. Thanks to Eric for early morning ride and all around support, and thanks to Theresa for finding a safe, paved, low-traffic, as-short-as-possible-but-still-127.4-mile route on the outskirts of the Windy City. Big dinner tonight!
(ps - happy birthday to my sister)

This is such a fantastic way of waking people up and getting us all together. I feel so connected with everyone who feels connected with you. As usual, the true leader and hero in you does good things to and for people. Thanks and I love you. mom
P. S. Hey Lani!
WAY to GO!! The wind was at your BACK!!! Maybe Lorna's Birthday had something to do with that---na.
Hopefully the winds will be the same for you tomorrow and the next.
You are amazing!! Stay safe!

Happy Birthday Lorna (I met you once in NH at another one of Carson's crazy ideas) - I hope you had a good birthday.
Carson & Eric, you need to turn North immediately. I'm serious.
In honor of your trip and Eric's minor setbacks, I wrecked the back wheel of one bike, punctured the tire on another bike, and lost a glove this week. Ahh bike season!
GREAT DAY TO RIDE HUH!! WHAT'S THE PLAN FOR THE WEEKEND ? YOU SHOULD TAKE A BREAK BEFORE YOU HIT THE HILLS THAT ARE COMING. AS ALWAYS STAY SAFE ! JP
